The 7 Essentials were created as a result of Director Riveroll's teaching experiences. They represent the "D" in DREAM and the "how" of our work at GPA. Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, his classroom was visited over 150 times and over 20 reflections were written by staff sharing their learning after observing his teaching. These alignment essentials come directly from Director's day-to-day implementation of GPA school culture with students; they provide tried and true guidance from his own teaching on what successful implementation looks like and facilitating alignment school-wide. Our students are capable of greatness when they are supported and championed – the 7 Essentials provide our students with that support.
May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! GPA celebrates this month to pay tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America’s history and are instrumental in its future success.
