Let’s cheer on our Eagles as they begin the Winter MAP Assessment!

MAP Assessment days are as follows:

February 17 and 18: Middle School Math

February 19 and 20: Middle School ELA

February 23 thru 25: High School Math (Monday the 23rd is a minimum day)

February 26 and 27: High School ELA

Students will test during their regular math and English periods on the dates mentioned above. The Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment is important because results are used to show the State of California that GPA is making adequate academic progress. Moreover, the data collected will be used by teachers to help provide specialized instruction to best fit students’ needs. For more information on MAP testing is please follow this link, also parents can find some great information on this test here!

This year our goal is for students to come to school on time, eat a balanced breakfast, and do their best. Students, REMEMBER: The MAP assessment is an adaptive test, this means the better you do the harder the questions get – so do not get frustrated!

Good luck to all of our Eagles as we all work on the A in REACH – ACHIEVEMENT!
