The boy’s varsity tennis team traveled to Linda Vista yesterday to play SCY. The team has one returning player Nathan C. who captured the only win defeating the #2 player. The rest of the team has only been playing tennis for less than 3 weeks and in such a short time played some really good tennis. Brayan F. and Honorio Z. played the #1 spot in doubles. This is their first time playing any competitive tennis, but the two showed determination and finess making some incrediable shots. Fernando S. and Muse K. played the #2 spot in doubles. Fernando F. the only lefty on the team made several good volleys against both teams. Muse K. racked up 4 aces, impressive! Both teams came away with games and lots of expierence.
Our next match is Thursday the 27th against High Tech San Diego at Roosevelt Middle School, game time 3:30. GO EAGLES
