Our #2 team, Tim M. & Santos R. played the #2 team from High Tech SD in the first round of the League Championships.   Our boy’s played well but lost a close one, which eliminated their chances of making it to CIF.  Congratulations to all of you, we are so proud of your accomplishments on and off the tennis courts.

04.27.2016 – Frontier League Championship

Congratulations to Peter and Honorio for making it into the Frontier League Championships.   Honorio played the #3 seed in his first round, Paolo from High Tech CV.  Honorio played well but lost.  The loss put Honorio in the consolation round and a chance to earn the wild card entry.   Honorio played some good tennis but was defeated 4-8.

Peter played the #1 player from SCY.  Playing in his first league championships, Peter played the best tennis this season, but lost a close one 6-8.  This put Peter in the consolation event, and still playing some amazing tennis made it to the finals.  Up against another top player from HTHCV, Peter fought hard and led early, but the HTHSD player powered his way back and won the wild card entry.  Great job boys for your hard work and dedication to tennis this season.

The league doubles championships starts today at Morley Field.  Best of luck to Kevin L, Chris C, Tim M. and Santos R. who will be playing for a spot.
