Gompers Prep traveled to Claremont Mesa Park to play High Tech San Diego in their final game of the regular season. In the first inning HTHSD put 4 runs on the board. In the second inning Victor R. got a walk, up to bat next was Fernando J. who hit a triple. Victor round 3rd base and headed home for the first score, 1-4 HTHSD. At the top of the 3rd inning, Eduardo P. got a single and Angel M. hit a double to send Eduardo to 3rd base. Up next was Daniel S. who hit a single and brought in 2 more runs, 3-4 HTHSD. At the bottom of the 5th inning HTH SD put 3 more runs on the board and taking the win 3-7.
Our boys ended the season in 3rd place. Stay tune to see if our boys make the play-offs. GO EAGLES!
