GPA vs King Chavez

Our girls varsity tennis team traveled to Roosevelt Middle School to play against King Chavez in the first match of the season.  Impressive and inspiring were our seniors yesterday.  Leticia R. Dulce R. Jullisa C. and Linda M.  have had extremely busy schedules over the start of the tennis season.  After school AP classes, auditions for the upcoming Open House show, members of ASB, and tennis practice.  For some of the girls this was there first time playing a competitive match, and how impressive they were winning all of their matches.  Our juniors Shelia F and Rosa B. came away with a win as well.  Our Eagles came up just short of a win by just a few games; score 7-7 in sets and 53 – 49 in games.  Congratulations to all of our girls who showed incredible poise, determination and dedication to being a student-athletes. Next match is Tuesday the 23rd against Health Sciences @ Roosevelt Middle School.  GO EAGLES!
